Hosted by the 19th Annual Moores UCSD Cancer Center Luau & Longboard Invitational
Survivor Beach was created in 2007 as a way to bring together the community in honor all individuals in their fight against cancerand to show their support for making more people cancer survivors.
Bring your board (all boards welcome!) and help form the longest line-up as a symbol of support for cancer research. The line starts at Scripps Pier and extends towards La Jolla Shores.
We need to beat last year's line of 1,674 feet, which was approximately 180 surfboards.
Tell us how many boards you can bring by registering for that many tickets.

Every ticket/board you register will be automatically entered into our raffle for the chance to win two tickets to the 2012 Luau & Longboard Invitational and other surf prizes.

We have been “Surfing for a Cure” since 1993 and have raised more than $5 million for cancer research. The funds raised at the Luau & Longboard Invitational support the mission of the Moores UCSD Cancer Center to translate promising scientific discoveries into new and better options for those fighting cancer. We are grateful to all those in the community who have come together in the “Aloha Spirit” to surf for a cure and support the fight against cancer.
More than just a friendly greeting, aloha also means kindness, unity, humility and patience. So, we ask you to join us in the aloha spirit to surf for a cure because together we are stronger than one – together we can find a cure – together we can take the giant leap to eradicating cancer.
